Top 10 Favorite e.l.f. Products

e.l.f. (Eyes, Lips, Face) Cosmetics is one of my favorite makeup brands, not only because they have great products, but also because they are one of the most affordable makeup lines.  You can find a limited, but good, selections of e.l.f. products at your local Target, Meijer, and K-Mart.  The full product line is available on eyeslipsface.com. e.l.f. have three varying product lines, their Mineral Line, where most products are $6, their Studio Line, where most products are $3, and their Essential Lines where most products are $1 or $2.

Most of the products that I've listed below are a staple in my makeup collection and I use many of them daily. You can also find coupon codes to use on their website, sometimes you can even find ones for 50% off your entire purchase!  This make an already affordable makeup line even more affordable!  Many of these products are also dupes for more expensive makeup items.  Why splurge when you can get the same effect with a very affordable option?

1. Studio Lip Exfoliator- $3

This is a great lip exfoliator.  I love this "lipstick" format compared to an exfoliator in a pot, it is much less messy!  It smells like sugar!

2. Studio Eyebrow Kit in Medium- $3

This eyebrow kit is one of my everyday makeup item.  It comes with a colored gel and a lighter powder, used to set the gel.  It is perfect for filling in sparse areas!

3. Studio Blush in Candid Coral- $3 (Dupe for Benefit Coralista- $28)

I love all of the Studio blushes.  They are all extremely pigmented and a little bit goes a long way!  There are a few matte blushes but most of them have a slight shimmer.  Candid Coral is one of my favorite colors, as it complements my pale skin tone really well.

4. Studio Golden Bronzer- $3 (Dupe for Diorskin Shimmer Star- $45)
The Studio Golden Bronzer is fantastic.  You can swipe you brush across all four colors to get a bronze glow, or you can use the individual colors for eye shadow, etc.  I like to use the lightest color as a cheek highlight.

5. Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzer Powder in St. Lucia- #3 (dupe for NARS Blush/Bronzer Duo in Orgasm/Laguna- $41)

The colors in the Contouring Blush and Bronzer Powder are both extremely pigmented.  The blush color is peachy and the bronzer is slightly dark, however, I use a tiny bit to warm up my complexion.  The blush, as well as the bronzer, have a slight shimmer in the pan, but is not too noticeable on the skin.

6. Essential Lip Balm Tint in Nude- $2
This has quickly become one of my favorite things to put on my lips.  The nude color is the "perfect" nude for me, it doesn't make my lips look like I've put concealer on them and it is not too dark.  It is very moisturizing and it has good color payoff for something that feels like a balm.

7. Essential Liquid Eyeliner in Black- $1
This eyeliner is extremely black and the perfect consistency.  The brush makes it very easy to work with.  You Can't go wrong with it, especially since it is only $1!

8. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer in Sheer- $3
This eye shadow primer is a great alternative to more expensive primers.  It keeps my eye shadow on all day and keeps it from creasing.
9. Essential Lipstick- $1
This lipstick has awesome color payoff for only costing $1, and it is not overly drying.  If you want to try out different lipstick colors, this is a great option.  You can see my swatches of the colors here.

10. Studio HD Powder in Translucent- $6 (dupe for Make Up For Ever Microfinish Powder $34)
This is a great option for setting foundation.  I have both, the e.l.f. HD Powder and the M.U.F.E. poder, and I cannot tell the difference between the two.  Also, with the e.l.f. HD Powder, you get so much more product.  8g to be exact.

I really hope this post has my readers wanting to check out e.l.f.  If you already have, what are you favorite e.l.f. products?  If you are interested in more e.l.f. dupes, check out Christine Mikesell's list here.
Until Next Time,
-Kaitlin
